Sto goes digital: successful social media communication

BRIEF

Sto is a leading manufacturer of external wall insulation systems and offers everything related to the efficient coating of buildings. Their portfolio also includes innovative solutions for energy-saving construction and high-quality products such as insulation materials, plasters, facade and interior colors. Our task as an agency was and is to prepare and manage the launch and subsequent continuation of the Sto Germany channels on Instagram and LinkedIn, as well as to further expand the Facebook channel.

CHALLENGE

In order to survive next to the huge competition from other social media accounts on the platforms, the question arises as to how you can make a convincing launch. Especially if you are a company from the construction industry that addresses a specific target group consisting of specialized tradespeople, architects and owners and is therefore in a niche area on social media. The challenge was clear: to stand out from the crowd and post engaging content in order to use the social media channels as a supporting element for sales and brand awareness.

SOLUTION

Through an inspiring and informative social media presence that initially focuses on three key areas: Increasing brand awareness, showing references and bringing the products closer to the target audience. To do this, goals are defined in regular strategy meetings. The creative exchange ensures relevant and target group-orientated content. By establishing content formats, we ensure that the community recognises the brand. But honestly, the secret to success lies in the fact that Sto and the crew work together perfectly. We complement each other very well, both in the creation of content and in community management. We are proud of this – and it shows in the figures:
